Rebuilt engine? Unless it's been ridden to another galaxy,
who rebuilds the engine on a GoldWing.

Yeah, I see from the Honda site, they haven't had Yellow
in two years. I also liked the White and Gold, but those
are gone too, for '07. The Metallic is nice.

Be real careful out there on that shiny new scoot'.

    Gosh dog. Dadblame, and whewho.
    I am impressed here.
    Yes, very impressed.
This is the longest thread on this lovely group, in months, and it is
about all things, Bike riding. (g)

Where are those lurkers now, that come on here occasionally, and
complain, about we dont talk about no motorsickel stuff.
Oh no, they arent around when we need em?

It took me 10, 15 minutes to read this humorous & interesting dialog
from some onLine friendlies that do indeed ride, they ride.

It has influenced me to fill out for several new 07 Kitchen pasees.

I have awready done 'er, and submitted them.
To me,It is so similar to filling out the paper work for those damn
    reBates.(g)
It'll take 7 working days to get a response, from the Kitchen Manager,
    Honey.
I wished I'd done it a few days back.

You guys talking & messing with one' another on this thread was so
    good, & entertaining, 'preciate it.

I was happy that acorn rode with you all.
sinceely yours . B. Jay. Kana

I thought the same thang' Gary?
Reminded me of the old days, when a fller trying to sell his old Ford
    Truck. He'd say';
‘‘Yeah, and it has gotta rebuilt motror in it’!.

If a Goldwing has so many miles, that they rebuilt the motor, I'd be
skeered of it, because of all the old components on it, too??? Starter,
rearEnd, wiring, starter button, cables, ignition, fuel pump, water
pump, voltage stuff, alternator and stuff like that??? Something to
    thank' about.

hmmm.. I was studyin' about the same thing, Gary.. Never
heard of such carryin' on.. I rode an Aspencade for over six
years and over 160,000 miles .. never touched the engine..
Friend of mine rode one for better than 250,000 and the same
thing.. Somebody must have badly abused that Wing..
That yellow will come back.. it was more popular than anyone
expected.. Of course, all of them are purty when they are fresh,
    new and shiny.. Regards

Louie and Big Ed were kinda listening to that salesman dude when he
was explaining about why that motor was rebuilt..I on the other hand
didnt give a **** since I just bought me one and I was over looking at
chrome do-dads. Louie was about half ass listening because he was
scared to death that I was going to buy some of those chrome do-dads
and put on my bike. Big Ed was about half ass listening because he was
looking at the new goldwings trying to do some creative financing in
his head so he wasnt paying to much attention. Maybe one of those can
make a long story short as to why that engine was rebuilt.

I just trying to keep you from turning that thing into a girlie bike.

Big Ed was about half ass listening because he was
Simple - as explained in Salesman mumbo jumbo

The dealer races and they are number 4 on Honda's list of. Honda called them
and asked if they happen to have a customer with 58,817 (approx) miles on a
2001 Goldwing. They did! Honda wanted the engine to run some tests. The
dealer removed the engine and sent it to, I believe he said, Yokosuka. Honda
sent back a rebuilt engine. It is unknown if the engine sent back was the
original engine, but it was a factory rebuilt. The dealer put the engine
back in the bike and the owner rode it another 60,000 miles and now would
like to sell it. There is a different warranty on the motor than on the
bike. From there I have to assume the difference is that the warranty is
unimportant and all warranties are expired.
The bike ain't a cherry and has close to 120,000 miles on it. The asking
9,995 is negotiable. This would be a good starter for someone who isn't
looking to finish. The bike has been available for sometime so I believe
everyone is passing on this 1, as for a buck or two more a nicer, lower
mileage original can be had. Having this tote the note type bike on hand is
a detriment to the dealership imo.

Yep,as a dealer,I wouldn't think putting the bike on the floor even next to
the new ones is a good idea.He must have some pic's of the owner of the
    dealership in a compromising position.
