On a vaguely related note, next time one of youse guys buys a
Blackbird or similar litre bike with dual exhausts and feels an
immediate urge to throw away the perfectly servicable quiet stock
pipes for loud ones, please let me know.

    (I've got a GPZ900 with 23-year-old rusted muffler baffles, and I'd
    prefer them to be quiet).

  5. A pair of socks, or a pillow, normally does the trick.

    (original baffles rusted out).

Wasn't quiet though. It did have a label that said it was...
