  1. I found a new game today. You know them longish tunnels they have on
places like the M25 where a big road goes over the top? Knock it down
to third and give it some beans. Kin excellent.

  2. KSBs sound good in tunnels and make you look dead 'ard.

I have had no reason to go through it since I have had the bindit but I
certainly couldn't do it in third at anything approaching decent revs.
    Roll on the French trip.

I don't know about looking 'ard, but bouncing it off the rev limiter
    sounds sweet too.

With the loud can on my FZR, KSBs produce a rather loud bang with a nice
load of flame out the back. Tunnels are taken at over 14,000 rpm too. :)

For a start I wasn't unhappy this morning, other than contemplating the
fact that I have to take the washing machine apart *again* and it is
hard to stay unhappy when you have something approaching a responsive
    throttle to play with.

    Agreed!
Stripped the carbs on the Trophy again this A.M. Cleared the shyte out of
the stoooooooopid filters in the lines. Put new plugs in and went for a
    blast..........
    Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuverly!
Recovering from flu so felt a little dizzy what with the heavy wind and
noise in the lid, so went home still happier than when I went out.
    So,
Buzzing around on a bike is good for you innit.

Not always. Making progress round the M25 this morning head on into the
gale and I figure I was doing an airspeed approaching 140 on occasions,
which is no fun if you don't have a screen to hide behind.

The mersey tunnel is quite steep downhill and fairly enclosed, so on a
closed throttle all the way down a triumph triple sounds quite nice,
especially when it clears it's throat at the bottom for the uphill
    jaunt.

I'd love to follow a 996/etc with termis through there.

I don't know, what's it look like, is it any fun and does it involve a
    blonde?

(not all of these are positive aspects)

I don't get much of an opportunity to "do" tunnels round here; they're
either 20mph limits or very crowded. There's one I can think of near a
certain cider shop I'll be going to next week and will try it then )

I put a Givi A200 screen on my SV and it does a good job of keeping the
    wind blast off me.
