Atleast my local media has published some stats, about Motorcycle
    accidents.

There's many, many more Motorcycles on the road, especially since gas
    prices has sky rocketed.
BabyBoomes buy most of the new Bikes out there?

Some of them buy a Harley and start riding, without traiining and enough
    practice, before riding around town.

But I think, mostly, MC accidents are the result of ''bad decesions'',
and certainly misJudgements of whats ahead, like curves,
    intersections...blah,blah blah.

We had a MC death last week of someone we sorta knew. He was the brother
of one of our riding friends.
She said, at the funeral home visitor reception, that: ''A Motorcycle
didnt kill my brother'' his making a bad decesion killed him''. Her
brother, was trying to confront a motorist who apparantly cut him off or
something like that. And as he rode up to the drivers side, a car was
stopped a head of him. He didnt see the car in time, in the left
turning lane! He hit the car, and was thrown along way, and HE WASNT
    WEARING a hell'met.
Yes he died 4 or 5 days later, from head trama.

The more Bikes out there, the more chances that there will be more
    accidents.

Let me add this. There has been 2 or 3 ByCycle riders killed too,
around here. And one person was hurt real bad, when thrown from her
    Horse...so it's not just Motor'sikels......FWIW MrJayT-
