    Considering the "what's a good, free, reliable, newsgroup server?" thread gets
    started around here at least once per month, I'm forever surprised at the
    number of stupid people who are still persisting with the crap their ISPs dish
    up. FFS everyone just sign up with news.individual.net will ya.

    Nev,

    I see all these posts about ISP's with this problem and that problem etc. I
    use Bigpond and telstra for everything, I do not have any problems with
    servers, mail, web access, adsl connections, even the one at home which is
    11 km from the exchange,
