Lost Key and Alarm Control

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Well-Tech Ltd, Jun 29, 2004.

  1. Just back from a trip to Assen (with a last day detour to Hamburg) and I've
lost a bike key and alarm controller.

How do I go about getting hold of replacements ? The bike is a VFR (2001,
pre VTec) and the alarm is a datatool veto evo. I probably left it in some
german prossy's room along with my 50 euros........ ;-)

How many of these did you "import" in the back of your van?

I've done this myself. Each new remote control cost me about £34
IIRC. Just buy ot from the dealer who supplied the alarm or any Veto
    supplier.

The trick bit is getting the remote coded to match your alarm. You
need to read the instructions that come with the new remote but as
long as you cand find one particular part of the alarms wiring (where
you need to put a 12v supply) it's easy to do.

    HTH.
