My old Dominator has still got its original fork seals and steering head
bearings, no leaks and no notches.
Not bad for an 18 year old bike with 65k on it.
    Same piston too..
Say what you like about Honda, but their build quality is a bit good.

So why do I want another Kawasaki? ;-)

And there I was at first thinking you meant a real Dominator and not a
    pile of "jap crap" :)

I told you that, time and time again, before you got rid of it, but
    would you listen? ;)[/QUOTE]

    But not as stately
    Or Worldly-wise.

Indeed, but I miss quoted the Knox. It should have been "The very
    young....."

That actually is a fair point, where's the sense in riding a bike?

A question like that, from you? I'm aghast, I really am.

Well... to the best of my knowledge (and I have a lot of service
history) my 1985 K100's still on its original fork seals and steering
head bearings. Not bad after 105,000 miles. Same pistons and rings too
although I suspect it would benefit from new rings (but I doubt it will
    get them any time soon)

Sometimes I can't see the sense in riding a bike on cold wet days when
there's a perfectly nice warm car. I must be getting old.

    That's not age - that's common sense.

Which is probably just as worrying.

Indeed, I'll probably start wearing more than a t-shirt and jeans now on my
    bike.
