Long Way Round on BravoTV

  1. Sometimes I wonder -

it turns out the episodes broadcast on BravoTV are altered, cut
    differently
than the versions broadcast in the UK on SkyOne. In general, they are
    about
10-12 minutes shorter. I assume to accomodate the commercial breaks
without going over 60 minutes running length.

    Why am I not surprised?

Anyway, if you are interested in seeing the complete episodes head
over to your favorite torrent host (suprnova.org) and download the
episodes listed there. Those are the ones recorded from the SkyOne
    broadcast.

If you like the TV show, you'll really like the book (much better
IMO). It's at most bookstores. Much more in depth. I can't believe
    those guys
    - picked that particular route at that time of year
    - used such big bikes even though they had a support team (sag wagon
to us cyclists). I would have used a Dakar and left half
    the crap on the truck.

I also can't believe KTM dropped their suport to such a well funded,
high visibility program. Dumb dumb dumb.

No, I think KTM saw it for what it is, which is shite. They are a couple
of clowns that can't keep a bike on two wheels for any length of time.
They spend more time winging about everything that they do getting on
with the documentary. This could have been a brilliant program.

Just go it! Excellent read really.

Is it just me or does it sound like Ewan does not have any money?

Of course this can be part of the fun - getting the funds from 3rd parties
rather than just diving into the Star Wars funds. However, it sounded
as if he really needed financial support. Having George L. buy him
a 748 because he can't afford it? Maybe he should change his agent.
