Caught an episode for the first time last night and I'm now kicking myself
for missing the start of the series. Absolutely fascinating in a "I'd love
to do that" but simultaneously "I'm glad I'm not doing that" way.

By bizarre co-incidence I was doing my missionary zeal bit this morning in
the office and telling Oli, my next door desk neighbour about this cool
programme starring Ewan McGregor, Charley Boorman and their cameraman and he
responded "Claudio?". Turns out he took his DAS with Claudio this Easter
and even did a bit of filming as Claudio phoned to others to tell them he
had failed the test. Oli hadn't realised the programme was airing on Sky
Travel (which he can receive) and is now seriously kicking himself for
missing it thusfar. He was waiting for the DVD to come out..

The first episode was posted to uknova.com [1] yesterday, I believe the
    others will follow shortly.

I keep meaning to go and find out about this torrent thing but never get
round to it. Anyone point me to a simple overview?

I would recommend Azureus as a client. Your choice of tracker sites
will vary according to what it is you are after.
