I got caught in a fucking *huge* downpour while trying to navigate
traffic in villages adjacent to the A14, which was blocked again. I
filtered for a bit, but people wer getting out and wandering around on
the carriageway, which was a bit dodgy. I'm glad I left at the exit I
did: the road was actually closed and I'd have been stuck with the
    cages.

My winter trousers are definitely not totally waterproof.

The damp patch caused some hilarity at work and my jeans didn't dry
out fully until after I got home this evening.

Suits you sir. I trust such a rain will have a fruity outcome?

They should do those up here. I can see "I (Heart) Sheepy Magna" going
    down a storm.

Ta. It's good to be back on 2 wheels after a 3 month break.
No, but I drove past it on Friday evening and the Meaning of Liff
definition lodged itself for use tonight.

There's a host of t-shirts with a local theme in St Nick's market. My
favourite is the "Severn Beach" one, with sunset/palm tree/jet plane
    graphics.

Nice one, is it the same all black model as mine[1]?

[1]Obviously, it's never ever going to be as nice, as fast or brilliant
as mine, but I'm being polite tonight cos it's Statto I'm asking.

Very nice, CIH.... Oh, no point. Enjoy.

Have you signed up to T595.net yet? There's quite a good tech forum
where the guys actually know their stuff. The rest of it is OK too with
    fairly decent posters.

  20. Nice, anything else that can be anodised to make it BWEEBB ?

PS - You're not wrong about it being a rain god.... we've just had one
including sparky bits which caused a 1/2 hour power cut, luckilly the kettle
    had *just* boiled.
