I guess my longest owned bike is my Peugeot 104 which I picked up in
1979, but like your RD I've not seen it for a couple of years.

I've had the R80RT for 19 years and it's my "daily driver" at the
moment. The R65RS will also be 19 years too (good things come in pairs).

I've had the Harley 7 years and the Kawasaki nearly 3.

If we're counting cages too, I can't forget that I bought my BX GTi
brand spanking new in 1987. I think I'll have to celebrate its 21st
birthday by getting it off the drive.

My MZ ETZ 251, owned by me from new, is now 18y1m8d old.

At its last MoT (never failed one yet) the tester issued an advisory!
"Rear tyre, mate, approaching the legal limit". It's got > 3mm tread
depth, and I got the impression they've been encouraged to issue a
    greater number of advisories.

There's a very good reason I didn't include the reg in that post!

I 've had the old Zeph for nearly 5 years now. I'll be sad to see it
go when I get around to trying to sell it.
