    Bear fascinated us all by saying...
    No, you broke a spring on the selector detent, different thing
    altogether, and a common fault on early R1s. So common that they
    redesigned the spring and have it as a stock replacement.

    Not if the person can estimate the vehicles speed to be significantly
    higher than the speed limit. If they are travelling at 70mph it would
    be quite normal to estimate a vehicles speed to be "about xxxmph"

    There is no offence in undertaking but saying someone is
    "undertaking" is quite normal to describe the manouvre
