    Did you speed?

Did you travel along the hard shoulder?

If you did, put this one down to experience and face all the music they can
give you. DON'T UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ARGUE THE TOSS WITH THEM IN COURT,
it will only add to what is rightly coming to you.

If you wish to minimise what's coming to you. instruct a good Solicitor to
employ the services of a top flight Barrister, don't trust that even a good
Solicitor will get you off on this (after all they're only a good Solicitor,
    not a Barrister :).

A good Solicitor, together with a Barrister, will cost you (minimum) £5k !

If your God is on your side, you will walk away satisfied that your costs
are paid, and that you have just pissed off every Traffic Cop in a 50 mile
radius. Your pride will not be dented untill the next time you are foolish
enough to ride your bike anywhere near one of them !

If your God is slightly displeased with you, you may get slightly less
fine/ban & a little less of a talking too from the Magistrate. It will only
slightly dent your pride, but it will still cost you (minimum) £5k !

If you did NOT speed !

If you did NOT travel along the hard shoulder !

Mortgage your house, put your wifey on the street and sell the kids into
slavery. Rest assured that one day an ex-public schoolgirl will attract the
attention of the media to the 'free the whinging courier' cause. You will be
released an old but happy man, marrying the ex-public schoolgirl only to die
pennyless shortly after the premier of a film based loosely on your story.

    P.S
    Know your enemy.
A Traffic Cop I have drunk many pints with tells me . . .

"We are in the most visible vehicle on the road, everyone else has seen us
but this one. They are all driving like butter wouldn't melt, and they're
all driving at 69.9mph. But this one hasn't seen us, and THAT is what really
gets us, THAT is what makes us angry, whether they're DLAC (driving like a
****) or just f#:k'n stoopid, they are not aware of where they are. If they
are not aware, they are an accident waiting to happen."

  10. But when you were first nicked, didn't you post that you had indeed been
doing the deed? To a very large audience, possible including HM's
    finest?

  16. They have such a way with words, don't they? I must remember that when
I next talk about "filtering" or "lane splitting". What a wussy choice
of words, when I could say, "Yeah, I had to literally _FORCE_ my way
between lanes of traffic this morning"...

I'd have no problem having the book thrown at me if they'd been honest
in their report but the lies they told make this a bitter pill to
    swallow.

Swallow it & smile. I was once told that the UK Police are to be considered
as the 'ardest, most resourcefull, best organised 'outlaw gang' with the
biggest territory to boot. **** with one & you have to **** with them all !
(and that came from the mouth of a top flight Barrister !)

Do you know any good Barristers?

Not personally, they can only be approached professionally through a
    Solicitor.

I've read that too. I won't bleat on about how my life depends on my
skills every day and how every essence of my being and nerve endings
shriek with every manoeuvre, that's been done already.

What you do & how you do it is an everyday part of your life and you do it
how you consider you have to do it. I only experience the antics of
professional couriers on the odd occasion I find myself driving down
t'smoke. Whilst admiring & acknowledgeing the level of skill and
concentration required to undertake, weave, filter etc, all at warp speeds,
every essence of my being and nerve endings shriek with every manoeuvre.
You may never have had a 'big off', but you (evidently) may never have seen
lot's in your rear view mirror either !

I'm going to say "**** it". I'm going to put in mitigation and as
someone up there said throw myself on the mercy of the court. If I lose
my job then **** it, it's no less that I deserve, it's a dangerous game
anyway. At least I'm not a priest molesting kids.

Revenge is a dish best served cold !

Sorry, the problem with that is what exactly? If you are innocent,
then I guess I would be a tad pissed as well, but it seems stunning to
me that all the people that get nicked for speed actually *were*
speeding. Can we see a link here.
Breaking the law does not 'question the system' Getting the law
    changed would get my respect.
Diddums. Did you really not know that getting nicked at 100+ was an
instant ban? Or were you really doing less than the ton?
I have *so* missed this place :)

Something with such fucked-up formatting as to make it essentially
    unreadable.

Know the limitations of your medium, Mr. Frenzy. Review the standards
of your literacy and your ability to express yourself. Learn about
yourself - learn how to post, for ****'s sake - or **** off.
    Your call.
