I knew the Valkyrie needed me. Since getting the other V (oyager) I haven't
    given the Valk a glance.
As I rolled it out I couldn't help but notice differences and make
    comparisons.
It (Valk) is a longer reach from the seat to the ground than on the Voyager.
Bars are way wider, and higher.
Got it rolling, shifted to #2 and gunned it. It almost ran out from under
me. Much more power at low r's than the Voyager. Brakes on the Valkyrie are
so much better that every time I went to slow down, I stopped. Slow speed
handling goes heavy in favor of the Voyager. If I had the Valk engine and
    brakes on the Voy...wow..
I warmed them both up and parked them real close, we'll see what happens.

Well... alright.. Say, for example.. the Valk breeds the Voyager.. You've
    still
gotta wait for the damn thing to mature enough to break and ride it.. By
    that
time you will be like me and too damned old to ride, anyway.. lol.. Regards

My wife was asking me the other day, exactly what is
a Valkyrie. I've seen it explained, but really didn't know.

It has something to do with the maiden Valkyries and
the Valhalla. Wait a minute, I'll get the definition.

    .....

    OK, here it is:

"Any of Odin's handmaidens who conducted the souls of the slain to
    Valhalla."

Anyway, did you know there's a tune - "The ride of the
    Valkyries" ?

I've got a pretty good version if anyone's interested in
giving it a listen. Give me an ftp staging site, and I'll put
    it up there.

    Have a great Christmas.

Louie, I was concerned that you didnt like Valkyries anymore.
    It almost hurt my feelings.
You know I am in the market to lower mine. You say you sit fairly high,
I do too. I'm 5'8'', I barely am flatFooted, and only then If I
''ooche'' towards the tank when stopped. Yeah at real slow speeds and
turning around them Valks are like riding the Mother Ship (as one guy
    calls his Valk)
I grew up riding on Hondas and I 'member they all sat high in the ol'den
days. My first GW, I really sat high on it, and I was taller then too, I
    was 5'-9.1/2''.
one seems to git' shorter with age stuff.
I believe I can lower mine 2.1/2 inches.
Go to a Valk site, to sell 'er, when you get in the Mood. But with your
money, you probably don`t have to sell `er I bet. hohohoho
