Does anyone who watches this group have a current contact info for Lone Star
Cycles in Garland? They have a bike of my friends that was taken in last
spring for repairs, but he was never able to afford to have them start on teh
work - so he needs to pick it up - however the phone number on the storefront
    sign has been disconnected...

I'm hoping he's not SOL on the deal....

I appreciate the lookup - but they're (or were) just off of Hwy 78 - (just
    south of Buckingham) in Garland.

Haha - we were tempted Saturday night - but I'm not going to jail for a bike!
    :D

Seriously, though - they knew that my friend didn't have the cash for the
repairs, and allowed him to leave it there - so he's more than willing to give
some compensation for them storing it for him... He just wants it back.. and
    we'll work on it ourselves.

    Thanks

They WERE on the east side of 78 in that industrial/garage shop area.. but
they have since moved directly across to the west side of Hwy 78 (on a
side-street) to another small shop. The shop they're in now has a lot of cars
for sale there, too... funny though... all the cars look like they would be
in the $10-$100 range for prices... Not good...

    Thanks Joe,

Update on Lone Star Cycles... Seems he didn't have enough business to stay in
business, so he rented storage space from another company - across on the west
side of Hwy 78 - and has all his stock/bikes in storage over there.

The owner of LSC is in the process of opening a restaurant in Garland... and
my buddy happens to be looking for a night job... so I think this story is
going to end on a happy note... My friend is going to work off the repairs and
hopefully have his bike back and in running condition by mid-spring - in time
    for the hot months.

I don't know anything about the restaurant right now - but will pass along any
info if anyone's intersted - when I find out more.
