    well, yes, obviously[1]
    that's about right.

[1] I've got this perverse /need/ to take a ride on the no.25
    though[2].
    [2] the steam-stack is hilarious.

why should they make any more of an effort for you?

Just in case you haven't found it, this:

    http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en

    is what you need.
no idea, but it wouldn't be ideal - too much driving past the M25, if
    you ask me.

Obviously, I'm only recommending it because I know the area, but I
think you could do a *lot* worse than parking in Enfield Town (about
10 minutes from M25/J24 or J25, free parking in the evening, and catch
the N279 down to the Charing Cross Road/Trafalgar Square (about a
    45-60 minute ride)
    no.

but the kettle [1] buses on the route will be moving soon as the route
    swapped operators at the weekend.

[1] hydrogen fuel cell which only emits steam from a pipe at the top of
    the bus at the rear.

that's OK - I didn't really want to go to Ilford anyway...

  5. Actually they won't. First are to retain the workings that the kettles
work. Apparently it was too much trouble to move them to the RV1

I spotted your text up on the screen and had a quick nose round the bar area
but didn't know if you meant left when looking at the bar or at the stage so
I gave up after a bit and went back down onto the floor area for a bounce
    round in the crowd.

A mighty fine gig indeed , and I was soaked through by the end.

I'd parked up where I thought I was going to and got a taxi up to the venue
(£10) then walked back after the show which took about half an hour , so
traveling wasn't too bad at all.

Apologies for being a sad b'stard, but I thought it might be worth a punt...

and had a quick nose round the bar area
I should've mentioned my current Rick Parfitt/Geoffrey from Rainbow hybrid
hairstyle... *Then* you'd have found me..... :)
It was indeed and, as Chris Cheney said, its been too long since they last
played the UK. Just was a pisser that they finished so early when there are
loads of good new tracks on Modern ARTillery that they didn't play... Not
playing 'Short Notice' was, IMHO, criminal... Which kind of fits with where
    they're from I suppose.
Followed advice to park ayt Blackhorse which was great except every fucking
bus going back wasn't letting any more passengers on. So we ended up
forking out £25 for a taxi, which wasn't sooo bad when I consider it costs
me £30 to get home when I go out on the piss in Nottingham...

  9. glad it worked out - sort of. You were warned it would be like hell on
    earth, though.
