Thursday or Friday would be better for me. Mainly because on past
experience I find working the day(s) after a London drinks to be
    inadvisable.

    ....and I'm off Fr/Sa/Su/Mo

I was thinking of going to Avebury on Wednesday.
    What does one look like?

Hmm. Away Friday, and at a BBQ on Thursday (and an interview at 9am sharp
    the next day)
    What happens there then?

Ermm, we all stand about, have a manky burger in a bun and, importantly,
take the piss out of all the other people there. But not loud enough for
them to hear us, of course.

It's a nice run there and back.

Oh, and apparently I get young ladies gazing at me lovingly.

Ah - no wonder you want to go :)

Weather permitting I may well be up for it this week as I now have some
    fuel.
