The fact that I _can_ sleep in a tent, or, for that matter a bus
shelter/pavement/etc. doesn't mean that I either enjoy it, or, seek it
    out as a good experience.

Is there a handy 5 star hotel in the neighbourhood?

    regards,

You usually see 5 stars in the bar by about midnight.

You're better off with a 3 star. No conferences full of noisy drunks.

I think he's still asleep after his last Targa. Been over a week and not a
    word.

    The journey IS the destination.

    1. Which helped necessitate a reconfigure with a different distro[2].
    2. Slackware[4] hates my laptop[3] which necessitated another reconfigure
    with a different distro.
    3. And the desktops are too far away from the tellingbone.
    4. I wouldn't bother if I was you. Try Ubuntu instead.

Speaking of which, I've got (literally) dozens of copies of
the official two CD (live + install) set of Ubuntu 5.10[1]
for PC (and 2 or 3 copies for Mac) if anyone wants one.

(the live CD is a bootable CD that allows you to run up a
full ubuntu linux system and tinker to your heart's content
without ever installing anything on your computer - perfect
    for trying before buying).

If ya want one/some, giz a yell, make some arrangement by way
of stomped, self abused elephant, or whaever, and they're yours.

I should add that the email address in the header is apparently
