<Just a general waffle> It's funny (or at least I think it is) the way my brain works whilst riding - the process of putting 2 + 2 = 4 specifically related to those "fridge in the road" type moments... I had two that spring to mind on my recent trip: A car passed me going the other way with "WIDE LOAD" written all over it - my first thought was "that wasn't wide" but subconciously I'd luckily worked out that meant there was a FOAD truck just round the next bend... A load of shit in the road, after a farm entrance.... normal brain "la la la" - subconcious "there's a tractor round the corner" - and again, there was - dragging a massive big roller thing. In a way, I'm quite pleased i've now got enough experience/common sense/whatever to somewhere work out whats coming - but it's still a little disconcerting to come round a corner to literally find the big red tractor and a variant of the massive spikes of doom :-)
