    A vey small prize, obviously.
I refer you to my comments re: use of upper case and twatness.

I'll further refer you to earlier comments about use of repeated
punctuation - specifically queries in this case - and twatness.

Ah ok. Does it have an automatic clutch though? If it does, I don't
think they'd permit it for the "A" test. (If anyone ever decided to
    take a test on one.....).

    "markzoom" replied Muck
No it doesnt, it has manual gears and manual clutch.
As for if anyone deecided to use it for the test? Theres a huge amount of
scooterist out there that specifically seek these little beauties out
    because,
    a) its still a scooter
    b) its the only manual geared scooter that the DVLA / DSA will accept for a
    test.

Yay! Did you get the thing I sent in the post for you by the way?
I rather think he's presumed that all scooters are twist and go, knowing
nothing about what makes a proper scoot.

That most people could be bothered with the A1 test which excludes
    anything over
125, particularly since there's no difference between A1 and A tests
as far as I know, beyond needing a faster 125 for it.
    But I asked first.
??? Now what are you on about. You HAVE TO do a CBT before you do
    either A1 or A tests.
Me thinks you are confusing CBT with A1.
    Don't bother.
But do you know any 125s book capable of over 100kph?

I sent something via Petrolcan for you, I figured that you would like
it, when it gets to you that is. :)
How are the injuries now btw.

Exactly! I've already got the appropriate CBT.
Right. No point in buying a sub-100kph 125 if you want to take the A
    test on it.
Thanks, I will check. Would be nice for an awful lot of learners if
there was a list of some A test suitable 125s on the net too
    though....

Heh, knowing petrolcan itll be sat in his kitchen somewhere :)
I really must get round to going and seeing the gobshite at some point, i
wouldnt mind its only 40 miles or so!
All casts are off, kneecap is still in two pieces but no one seems unduly
worried about that for some reason and i passed my renewed CBT on Monday, so
theyre healing well :) SOooooo nice to be back on 2 wheels, even if its
    only a vespa :)

Question 1):"What on earth do you want A category for?"
Statement 2): "Do A1 then DAS".

Answer to 1): You are obviously also unaware that the A cat motorcycle
licence you poo-poo is the one needed to ride a bike over 125cc and is
    the one you (presumably) have.

Reply to 2) No. Why do a CBT, a max.125 course and test and a Direct
    access course and test?

Q3): How about you post makes of +100kph 125s and quit making a fool
    of yourself?

What you (hopefully mistakenly) believe is that one should do the CBT
    (obviously), a sub-126 course and sub-126 A1 test+licence AND a direct
access course, test +A licence (the very A licence which you say I
shouldn't bother with, that is required for any above 125cc bike).
Eeer ok, thanks but no thanks.

I'd still appreciate some makes of +100kph 125s though, which, if you
read my question, is what this thread asks for (Like this: "LIST of
    +63MPH /100KPH 125s please")

Donegal Paul <> spewed forth the
    following...

    Well, I never knew that.

I seem to recall my PX125 (and even my Primavera) being capable of over
63mph.[1] In fact, I distinctly remember my Primmy doing a healthy, if
screaming, 65+ on the A55 heading towards Anglesea. On a flat piece of land,
before anyone says. Granted, I was a lot thinner at the time (thanks,
amphetamines). I was quite proud of it at the time, even though it was pink.

[1] And before markzoom gets excited, 4 gears and manual clutch also..

Look, I'm sympathetic to you on the whole wrangle about which test you
should take, but it appears that nobody here has such a list or a link to
    one.

If you think it would make a good web-site then why not do the homework and
put it on the web somewhere? If you can't be arsed to do it then why do you
    expect somebody else to be?

Super... The Vespa T5 goes back on the skimpy list of suitable 125s
instead of room 101 then (when I get around to it).

I presume that most modern scooters are twist and go. I would however
be overjoyed if you can point out any more (preferably modern) that
    are A test suitable 125s.
