I could email it, but posting it would get me a death threat.

Ben Blaney bored us all completely to death with wittery prose along
    the lines of:
Go for it then. What are you waiting for?

  5. And he didn't email me until *after* I'd left......

Actually, this whole diatribe was posted here after the event, so it's
not like any confidences are being broken.

    [snip]
Push back a week in spain by two weeks, so that I could
    a) see my mate in france
    b) go on holiday.

Some-one with your IQ should have been qble to problem-sqlve
    suffiqiently to qhink of qhat.
    Sorry, I answered instead. :)

I recall him already saying that pushing it back 2 weeks wasn't
an option as SO was going to be back at work (teaching) by then.

You could actually read what he posts before trying to bait him.

-----Then Des got it into his head
-----To ride to Spain with his chick on the Shed
    -----He said to his mate
    -----You'll just have to wait
-----And fly home three days later instead [4]

[4] This would have cost us 180UKP just to change the flights. What
would you do with the arrogant cnut? I'm sharpening my cricket bat.

Prolly not (as I said earlier.)

    Well I did until this.
That'd be the reason in question Des.
    You suave persuasive bastard.
    Giddy up a ding dong.

I've been marking everything 'catch up' lately and then skimming
through all the dross. This thread had me hooked for a few minutes
    though.

Damn right. It works on a counter basis. The more you bait me and reel
me in, the higher the counter gets. The higher the counter, the more
    painful it becomes.

  18. So he's not going back to teaching then?
Where the hell is the fun in that?

He failed his exams, she passed hers, so she's off to her job in
teaching, and he's doing whatever he was doing before.
It'd make the whole thing a bit less tedious if you knew what you
    were doing.
