<snip long and dull revisionist tirade>

Enough. I feel sick to my stomach, <snip> and no
matter what you or Cab or anyone else posts about me in complete and
blatant violation of any notion of integrity etc etc

    Des' 'bottom' line.
Now Now Des, calm down FFS, you'll blow a gasket at 40,000 feet if you
    carry on like that.

Try writing some poetry or something.

<Puts on official ukrm arbitration hat.>

This is obviously a complex and emotive issue, but in my role as official
arbiter of disputes, I have made the following ruling ...

"While the official arbitrator (me) recognises that the full details of this
issue are the subject of some debate it is his decision that he will be
seeing Tallbloke tomorrow night and not only is Tallbloke bigger than him,
but he also gave him some very nice dope at the BOSM. Therefore, on this
occasion, the official arbitrator (still me) has ruled in favour of
Tallbloke. If Des wishes to appeal he is free to do so after tomorrow when
the official arbitrator (I do like that title, can I keep mummy?) isn't 24
hours away from meeting Tallbloke and has already tried to bum some weed off
    him".

So there you have it, it's out of my hands now.

You revealed far more about your private and personal life in two posts
than Cab and I have ever done. Or would want to.
I guess we're friends no longer.

We have only met on two occasions of a few of days duration.

    1) When he came over to UK on his FJ and stayed at Mine and Mo's place
    for three days.

    2) When I went over to the racing at Montlhery and kipped at his flat
    for three days.

Kinda stuck with him via the net tho' and tried to help him through the
    shitty two years he mentioned.

Getting the "now now Rog calm down FFS" treatment after I reacted to his
suggestion that we hang on in Paris for three days after our flight left
    was too much for me.

His biggest worry about having emails quoted on group is that people
would realise that Des@ukrm is pretty much Des@email. Tres combatif.

    I like this quote.

'Kinell Des, Creteil is *in Paris*, you could *push* your bike there
from your Gaff in an hour. Or perhaps you meant Criteuil-la-Magdeleine
which is half a days ride away, and more than halfway to your Spanish
    destination.

Christ but you are a slow rider.
This says it all really. What a selfish arrogant wanker you are Des.
It was this same attitude in your mails which moved me to poetry. Maybe
if you'd shown an ounce of regret for chopping and changing your plans
on us things would have been different eh?

No, skintedness and other obligations are keeping me away.

I think it is probably best I don't comment on that or Des will be suing
    me as well.

A complete waste of a perfectly good cup of coffee that is imho. Keep
    whisky pure, only add water.

Would that be the conversations and emails where you asked Cab and Ace
to lie about your non-existent R1?

    Yeah, yeah. ****.

  16. Oh, one of the French Runs.

He said he was coming, then he said he wasn't, then he said he was, then
he said he wasn't, etc, ad nauseam.

We got to the hotel, and he never showed up. Never bothered to phone
anyone at the hotel to say he wasn't coming, either. When I got home
after the weekend, there was a message to say he wasn't coming after
all. As if I hadn't guessed.

Anyone with an ounce of courtesy would have contacted the hotel.

  17. How about "yes I am coming", "no I can't make now", "Yes I am coming",
    "Sorry can't make it".

You can insert your own TOG stylee interjections ;-)

First ukrm visit to Caudebec if my memory serves?

  18. That's right. I was trying to remember where it was.

I rather fancy a return visit to Caudebec......

The Older Gentleman bored us all completely to death with wittery prose
    along the lines of:
    Ah, yes, I remember now.
