It's the manner in which it's done that's been tedious. I'm sure if it was
me I'd simply put my side of the story and then if it went further tell the
opposition to **** off. To bang on and on about how unfair everything is and
an imaginery clique and to attempt to deconstruct how and why I became a
figure of fun is pointless and self-defeating, serving only to entertain the
masses. A number of ukrmers have got away with fairly bad behaviour and have
not ellicited the same derision by virtue of ignoring the jibes and carrying
    on as usual.

Oh come on, you know the full score on this one - they don't **** off, (or
at least they didn't) until some of the more, dare I say it, 'respected'
members of the NG put the boot in and made them feel they'd outstayed their
    welcome.
No, you are probably right... at least in this actual case, anyway. ;-)

Depends. H plate - should be... erm..... the last of the jellymould
    ones, I think. FL?
    1200-1300 quid, but if it's super-clean, 1500 isn't out of court.

You travel with your own tanks and wewights? Or don't you mean _all_
    your own kit?

Next time we go I'll certainly take my own wetsuit, which although
it's a surfing jobby is actually thicker than the loaners they had at
the dive centre. Jude's got a semi-dry suit, which she might also
take, as well as weight belt, boots and boot-style fins, all of which
were left at home this time, with just fins & mask being taken.

As we only used 22kg of our 40kg baggage allowance, we could afford to
take a bit more. Not sure we'll go to the extent of getting our own
    stab jackets though :)
Yes, I can see that would be an attraction for some people, but I tend
towrdas the opposite, only buying 'toys' when I can completely justify
them and spending far too long humming an hahing about it.
Heh. "FluffyDiver" - sounds like a new nick to me...
Now I _definitely_ couldn't justify one of them...

And yet 'someone' with 'such' 'clarity' 'can't' 'see' the 'contribution' he
makes 'in' eliciting 'a' daily 'kicking' in ukrm. It's just "unprovoked,
unjustified and entirely indefensible". Even those who would defend you get
sickened by your repeated Violet Elizabeth audition piece and turn against
you. Sooner or later you're going to have to take the fucking hint, my son.
    No, nothing like Karma.

A little bird tells me he's posted someone's address and phone number
etc on the death penalty ng. Can't be arsed to google for it right now
    to see if it's true....

Remind me Des, what's your address again?

You don't have to e-mail it, I'm happy to read it here.
