    Gibbers cut up 21" tyres. Sand is a bitch. Don't drink the bore water at
    Birdsville.

    Birdsville - Windorah was worse than the track.

    Great trip, mate. The last time I was down the GOR was the day after the
    London Bridge fell down and made it 13 Apostles. Brings back some distant
    memories.

    What is really cool is i'm reading a book called "the mailman of the birdsville track" by Kristen weidenbach,
    it's a good book, im about 1/2way through it. Some of these pictures give a bit of depth to an otherwise
    fantastic story about one guys life (only black&white pictures in the book of course). :).
