There's something going around, I'm sure of it. Anyway, the upshot of
it all is that I need to take a step back and consolidate, and I can't
justify keeping a 2.5 year old 1200 Bandit right now, I need to
liquidate some assets and it's the only non-essential one I have. It
seems likely that I can manage a smaller, older bike - I wouldn't be
too surprised to find myself on a B6 again, or similar, before EOSM.
    So be it. A bike's a bike.

    Any thoughts on probable value?
Bandit 1200 K3 unfaired, about 7500 miles, reasonable nick but some
wear and tear. I'm guessing about £3500 privately, on a good day
    after I've washed it.

It's breaking my heart to even think of it, but I think it's going to
    have to be.

    Parkers.co.uk say[1]:
    Suzuki GSF1200 K3 2003/53
    Private Good £ 3450
    Private Poor £ 2655
    Part Exchange £ 3155

Looks like you're about right. Best of luck with the rest of it.

You deserve nothing but a swift kick in the pants for BLAMING "the
    situation" for your own faults.

"Liquidate assets" really means "desperate for some cold, hard cash".

What is it? Gambling? Drugs? More irresponsible bullshit?

And by the way, English teams failed in the UEFA, Champions and World
    Cups this year.

Quite likely, yes - I've always been the creator of most of my own
    problems.
You can understand English! I'm so pleased for you.
Irresponsible, yes; just trying to maintain a standard of living
slightly above what my income dictates.
So? I don't follow football, it has no interest for me whatsoever. I
think the players are a bunch of overpaid prima donnas, who didn't
deserve to get as far as they did. I laugh when England lose at any
sport. I may be English by both birth and heritage, but I don't see
any reason to be proud of it. It's just a fact.
Now you're being offensive. I'd rather give up riding motorbikes
altogether than ride a sc**ter. I would wish upon you a particularly
unpleasant fate, but it appears it's already happened.

Why on earth are you rising to this sub-moronic, illiterate, inbred
yank? Just deal with your situation as best you can and leave him to his
    sad little motorbike wannabe fantasies.

I hope you get things sorted out.

Cheers. Didn't consider it a "rise", as such, but yes, I should have
    ignored the twerp really.

Just back from Donington, sunburned and tired. Bloody good day out,
left me feeling much happier. There's a lot more going on I'm not
telling at the moment, but I'm getting in control of things now.

Heh. Stuff like that helps put my problems into perspective; being
skint and depressed isn't a big deal on those terms.

Could you write a book on how you've done it please, or maybe just a
pamphlet? My chosen approach of downloading as many pictures as I can
find of Yolka doesn't seem to be working so far...

There do seem to be some rather bad photos of her kicking around, but
in the one on my desktop, she's pure goddess.

Too young for drooling over without having a nagging doubt about
whether she's legal or not. Of course if someone can provide her DoB, I
    might have a re-think.

You're weird. It's not as if you're actually going to **** her, so why
    worry?
Well if it sets your mind at rest, she wouldn't be featured on the
    met-art site if she wasn't over 18.

    <Re-thinks>

Nah, it doesn't help - she still looks like a little girl in that
particular photo. There are plenty others though so it's not a problem.
