Is he at all interested in motorcycle racing?

When it comes to charity, I take the SimonK approach.

If that was the MNDA, I know the bloke who wrote the letter. Or at least,
    received the cheque.

  12. One that drops through the door every pre-chrimbo is a packet of chrissy
cards from the Disabled Artists Foundation or somesuch. They expect me
to send them money if I use them - at a quid each, no fucking chance.

Then it occurred to me this year - I would use the cards I didn't think
were utterly wank and send them some recompense commensurate with what I
would have spent on cards anyway.

Better than the whole lot going in the bin, and they get _some_ money
out of me, even if only a couple of quid.

They must send thousands of these card packs out every year - makes me
wonder just how many people give in to this moral blackmail.

paying for nicer Christmas lights where he lives, rather than some
    sort of humanitarian charity.

  14. Insert 'week' here.
Probably. They're always announcing the latest 'thing' that's
had it's genome sequenced. All looks the fucking same to me.

  15. I'll send some dosh for the ones I've used; but to be honest, half of
    them are crap.

Still, their technique's worked - they've finally got me to pay them
    something.
