My old buddy showed up yesterday riding a brand new ElectraGlide Custom.. whew.. He went top of the line on this one.. (nothing new here folks) He's been riding one of the most impressive Springers in Texas for the past two years.. When I speak about "riding" in his case.. we are talking about RIDING.. Waco doesn't spend a lot of time wiping his motorcycle.. He's called me from Alaska, Nova Scotia and various other faraway places in the country.. That dude scalds the paint on his motorcycles.. He rides 'em and his little wife doesn't let him get far from the driveway without her being mounted with him.. That new ElectraGlide is top of the line.. all the goodies on board and he didn't take delivery on that motorcycle before it was up to snuff.. You can be sure that he spent a bundle on that sucker.. Damn.. what a motorcycle.. It is his intention to ride that new Glide on the trip into Mexico this month and he's planning on running about 2000 miles on it before we start the trip.. That's less than two weeks away.. To commemorate the purchase of that magnificent machine, they celebrated by fitting Mouse with one of the prettiest motorcycle jackets that I've ever seen .. And fit her it does.. She'd just picked up the jacket when she came by, and it was like a glove on her petite little frame.. Very pretty.. With all the accessories and complements on that new Harley, Waco doesn't have enough money to buy anything more complimentary to that motorcycle than Mouse.. She makes that package complete .. Congratulations Waco.. you done well, boy.. Both the motorcycle and that little wife are both assets.. Be proud..I'm proud for you.. hmmm.. We'll be spending a little more than a week on the road together on that ride down into Mexico.. My only complaint is that my Old Green One is sure going to be outshone by that Gucci ElectraGlide... badly.. That being said, you can rest assured that I'll sure be happy to be included in the company of such a pair as Waco and Mouse.. All the rest of you guys will just have to take a back seat and ride behind us on this trip.. Thanks... LOL... Just a little humor.. Everyone who makes this ride will be excellent company..
