Anyone in Letchworth? Only I won on Ebay a front wheel for my CD200
(all of 99p!). It's scabby, but I've got a new rim and so I can throw
it at the wheel builder and thus not have to take the bike off the road
    while it's being done.

So it's got to be collected.... and either kept until I get to Norf
Lunnon - daresay I'll be up there some time soon, if only to help Timo
with one of his mobile disasters - or Underground Railed down to SW
    London.

    Beer, curry, etc....

  4. If Lozzo is in North London and can drop it here I'll be going down to
Brighton at the weekend and could drop it down to you on the way.

If you're about, you may be able to pop by for a coffee if you want one.

Getting accosted by strange random women isn't all that bad. It's the
foreign people wanting photos that freak me out.

  9. Only if I can get a CD200 wheel on my bike otherwise I'll be in the
    cage.

What you doing there then? I'm only going to get out of the smoke for
    the day.

I'm not but the thought had crossed my mind.

Besides a run to the seaside has got to be a bank holiday thing.

  11. It rains on bank holidays. 'Sfunny but I never went to Brighton seafront
on a bank holiday, not on purpose at any rate. I think I will this year.

I did. 1960 something, in search of rockers. We got as far as the caff
on the A13 and bottled out.

Margate though, a different and somewhat scary[1] story.

[1] Scary as in finding ourselves outnumbered about 5 zillion to 1. We
bottled out again and left early.

  13. Me and my mate did that but with ghosts[1]
And people say about the good old days...

[1] All year we waited for the day (can't remember which day now) that
the notorious lady pillion biker ghost would appear down Rocky Lane. The
story went that she was killed in a bike accident at this spot down
there and if you went down there on your bike at 10 o'clock on this
certain date then if she got on the back you'd see her in your mirrors.
All fucking year we waited for that and then bottled it. I don't think
    we even left the house.

    Indeed.

Some of the tales are quite funny in there own right IYKWIM. The
Brighton thing could easily be the basis for a comic piece done by the
paddy who does yellow pages ads. Kin classic in it's own way. Kin 'ard
    we were.

Chicks dig ghost hunts dude. Wet knicker time for certain that one is.

  15. Nice, but I dunno if the payment (all of a quid!) will have arrived with
the seller by then. I'll pop it in the post tomorrow.

    Cheapest wheel on the planet.....
