Let them run whatever tire they want in MotoGP

I wish the riders could choose whatever tire they want, meaning even trying
the two brands back to back on the same weekend with the final decision
allowed right up to the start of the race.

    Is that too absurd?

Seems it would end the argument over tire rules and the manufacturers would
have what they say they want; real competition: If your tire is better, more
    riders will choose it.

Is it only the contracts which prevent something like this?

So they just pull off the michelin patch to reveal a bridgestone patch
    underneath on their leathers?
Same with the caps when they win a race?
What about the pre-prepped T Shirts?

Tire companies pay a team to use their tires. It's called advertising.

hell, i'd think dorna could come up w/ a scheme where both bridgestone
and michelin would pay them instead of individual teams!

  5. I can -

let riders pick anything each week!

give me the Duc engine in the yam frame with bridgstones,
but the suspension bits off a honda. and give me that mechanic
    to put it all together!
