    1) After pouring 1 ltr of Halfrauds Finest semi-synth into engine,
remember to put filler cap back on before riding.

    2) Tesco are still doing 3 packets of Pringles for £3.

    That is all.

Kin sign of the times innit eh? You kiddies have far to much money for
your own good. When I were starting out and forming my habits I was
skint all of the time so was careful to put the lids back on things so I
didn't waste any cos I couldn't afford to buy more.

Infused with pure Sodium they are. Evil incarnate.

Times haven't changed and I'm still skint. Skint and forgetful.

I had my first phal just before I left. My mate, a half Indian guy, was
being competitive with me and said to the waiter "Don't mess about, hot as
    you like."

Wasn't *too* much hotter than a Vindaloo really, the difference being that
afterwards we were utterly stoned and didn't talk sense or actually think
about moving for a while. The whole meal took 3 hours in fact and I
obviously visited the Burning Man festival the next day.

When pouring 3.5 litres of fully synthetic oil in remember to replace
    oil drain plug first...

New synthetic oil is very difficult to mop up.

well, as with a Vindaloo, "it depends". I've had "Vindaloo"s that were
pretty mild, but I've had "Madras" that have left me barely able to see
for the sweat dripping off my forehead.

I think the think with Phals though is - as you've intimated - you get
the chilli endorphin rush in spades.

The silliest dish I've seen ordered in an Indian was by Angie's
brother: "Chicken Hot Chilli Masala, but can I also have 35 raw green
    chillies chopped over the top".

On a par with the silliest chilli I ever made at home. A pound of beef,
32 birds eye chillis, four habaneros and a bit of tabasco sauce for
    flavour.

Delicious, if painful the next day. (Not as bad as the one made with
Blair's 4am that had me sat on the bog at the bowling alley next to
the office, unable to stand up, weeping.)
