I've got less than 24 hours until I'm back riding the Dragon on 129 to
North Carolina. To clear the space in the garage for the new 'Bird, I
took the Hurricane over to Renegade to be sold. If anyone is
interested in looking at it to buy, it's there until it either sells
or my wife takes the MSF course and takes it over. I downloaded a
couple videos of the annual NEXXT rallies, and after her watching them
and seeing what a good time those people have, now she's seriously
wanting to learn to ride and go to a couple of these events. It seems
we've lost something in Texas with how to have fun. Those guys take
over the town their rally is at, and do what they want to have a good
time. They're setting the parking lots on fire, riding their bikes in
their underwear, riding like they want...and no one is saying "that's
too dangerous" or "that makes us look bad". For four days those guys
are having a good time enjoying what they do...riding motorcycles and
being around others who enjoy the same.

In one of those videos, they were drag racing their bikes. They had
one guy who rode his on the back wheel from the start to the end of
    the 1/4 mile track. It ended with a 8.86 in the 1/4. I couldn't
believe it, so I timed it myself...and sure enough, it's about 8 or 9
seconds that he rode it like that. When most other bikes are
struggling to get under 10 seconds in a 1/4 mile, here's this guy
riding 8.86 seconds on his back wheel. Pretty cool, huh?

See y'all when I get back!

If your wife learns to ride, are you going to let her ride in her
    underware?
