    Well it's been nearly a year since I ripped out the downstairs
    bathroom, and six months since we contracted a tiler to do it. He was
    supposed to start on Wednesday this week when both Jude & I were away.

    Imagine my surprise when, on returning from New york a 2pm Thursday, I
    find that not only has he started the job, but it's all finished,
    floors, plinth and all.

    Amazed? I certainly was :))
