Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge into the city, we make our way to the most
posh section to annoy and terrorize the locals. However, the traffic soon
annoyed me...and the steepness of the streets were terrorizing.
How do those people make out in a light drizzle?

A trip down the curviest part of Lombard netting folks taking pictures of us
    (probably hoping we'd fall).
We make our way into Chinatown for some fancy dinner at the Great Eastern.
Good thing that they seated us alone as we hadn't had a shower for a couple
of days by now. Off to San Jose to see a childhood chum and off to Jackson
to see some net scum for the weekend.

Leaving Jackson, we cruise through the Sierras, across Tioga Pass in
Yosemite Park, then into Nevada towards Las Vegas. We cruised the Strip and
stopped in at Treasure Island. No joy, they are completely full.
That's amazing. It's a huge hotel/casino and all booked up. We found a room
at the Holiday Inn across the highway rather late.

Holy crap! It's 10 am! And I'm just waking up. Mouse says she thought I
needed the rest, but it puts a detour by the Grand Canyon just out of reach.
We cross Hoover Dam, catch I40 all the way to Amarillo and back home from
    there.

6000 miles in 12 days (10 if you don't count the couple of days at SNIFF in
    Jackson).

Man, my bike sure is dirty.

Thanks, man. I enjoyed this trip as well. Hit a goodly large section of the
country that I haven't been through before.

    I'm ready right now!

I'll be getting the Springer out of the shop today. If you thought that
thing was Gucci before, wait till you see it now.

We've met, at Sonic back when they did it down the road from me.
I had the black flame Shadow ACE, got a Goldwing now.
I know of a few rides (local) in November, I'll post them for ya.
Maybe you'uns can make a Terlingua run w/ us in March, I think we are
gonna take 67 across instead of 20 this time. as long as we get to Ft.
    Stockton
    before dark the first night.
