It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember steve auvache That road roller accident was a terrible affair. -- Dave GS 850 x2 / SE 6a SbS#6 DIAABTCOD#16 APOSTLE#6 FUB#3 FUB KotL OSOS#12? UKRMMA#19 COSOC#10
Nope...went to the big bike yard in the sky, while i spent a month in hospital and i had the repairs done. Alan
I wondered if it was down to being able to practise rights on roundabouts. If you were on the continent then you'd be practising lefts. And I reckon stongy (or whatever his name is) is right about the runoff thing.
Maybe, I don't have an opinion I just said the thing about the runoff (although accidentally got it the wrong way round) because I guessed it could be a contributory factor. I'm no great rider but having got stuck into trackdays and training early on I think I do both equally as badly
But in reality there is no more run off on left handers? Or perhaps better phrased as "since when did the the front of a Scania lorry become considered as 'run off'"
Left - self caused two occasions. The other times have been straight on and involved cars and pedestrians.
Well, I only stuck the bit in about the runoff as the post seemed a bit light on value, and by the end of the sentence I was floundering a bit for direction and enthusiasm. Pretty much like that one. I blame it on finishing early and having to drive a VW polo today.
It all depends on the conditions, doesn't it? On one side there could be a dry stone wall or a wide firm surface, on the other there could be another lane or a tractor with hay-bale spikes.
