Leaving bikes under covers

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Whinging Courier, Mar 25, 2006.

  1. I would've thought leaving a wet bike under a cover isn't a good idea.
The cover I'm using isn't the breathable type, IFAIK.

My bike's wet and filthy but I've put the cover on it, not to keep the
rain off but to keep prying eyes off.

How long have I got before it turns into a pile of rusty flakes?

a couple or three days at a guess.

It's a really good quality cover but breathable, it ain't.

My mate from way back's got this thing called a Bike-Shed or Bike-hut or
something; it's like a foldover tent that you reverse the bike into and
then pull the frame of the B-S/B-H over the top and it seals the bike in
    its own canvass garage.

Good it is but I cannot find one for love nor money.

Yep, that's just the sort of thing. Bit pricey though.

It's the convenience and the non-contact thing I like about them; no
scratches or hot exhausts to worry about.

Who wrote all the above, then? Was it you? No, it wasn't - although
    it looks like it was.

You pigshit-thick ****, Robbo: you can change your name and posting ID
every fucking day if you want, but your unique fuckwittedness shows
you to be incompetent every fucking time.

Do it right or **** off, eh?
