Leathers for spring/summer

  1. Be better dealing with a bespoke maker then and be sure you get
something you know will fit. Needn't necessarily cost the earth.

  2. Agreed. Crowtree Leathers or Zak Leathers, for example.

Anyone much over six feet tall is going to experience difficulty in
finding a suit that will fit them comfortably. There is the matter of
sleeves and legs being too short (which can also cause areas of double
layer protection to sit away from the areas they are intended to
cover), but body length can also be too short, leading to "eye watering
    moments".

If a suit can be tracked down which seems to fit reasonably well, the
prospective purchaser should *always* sit aboard their motorcycle, to
ensure they can reach and operate the controls unimpeded, and that the
knee pads, for example, sit on the knee and not above it, before
    parting with their cash.

  3. I have never been 'away'. There has simply been a dearth of topics on
which I could post. But thanks for the sentiment.

ZAK is run by Karen Davies (maiden name); one of Swift Leathers' former
pattern-cutters. Google provides her web site as
    http://www.zakleathers.co.uk/.

Perhaps the short/wide Armani suit sizes are 'domestic market only'.
    ;-)

Have you tried running your ad through 'bablefish' and posting to
    'ebay.it'? :)
