Anyone know of or recommend any good places to buy from?

    Any particular models to avoid?

    TIA

Avoid the one with the Bear Trap attachment, particually when wearing a
    kilt.

Army and Navy stores sell that sort of thing.

I've got one and its lasted well but has no corkscrew attachement which has
proved my undoing(sic) on several occasions.

    Not to avoid, but.

I have the Gerber Multi-Plier 600 Needle nose and it rocks. It does a
number on barbed wire fences. Twonk on his Speed-triple somehow managed
to get on the wrong side of the fence.

    America.

I bought a Leatherman Wave and a Leatherman Micra when I was in the US
earlier in the year. They were less than 1/2 the cheapest price that I
    could find them here.

    Fr Jack says...
    Apparently Schrade multi-tools are better.

Crappy website, mind. Most of his links are borked. "http://DESTINATION
    PAGE URL" is real useful...
....and your sigsep is borked, too.

Bad form I know... This is where I got mine:

Leatherman Wave, $69.99 which works out at about £39. Even adding in
P&P, duty and VAT it should still be cheaper than the £99 that the local
    shops want to charge

    Thanks to all who replied.

I found a pretty good site here:

    http://www.abetterworld.co.uk/gb8292.html

Happens to be the one I'm looking for.

Got the usual - AND a corkscrew.
