I'm looking to buy some new leather trousers, I want good leather with
good protection, but having a scout online doesn't seem to yield much
    in the way of information.

Obviously, going to look at the product 'in the flesh', so to speak, is
the best option, but being a burd not a lot of outlets have a wide
enough range that covers the over-10 size without purchasing first.

If any of the gals on here can give info on where to go, what would be
the best buy, I would appreciate it.

I'm heading darn sarf at the end of the month, if push comes to shove a
stop-off in Flitwick might be an idea...but only if they also don't
only hold stock for midgets. [1]

[1] And the worry about what Graham (Graeme?) might do to my bank
    balance, too......

  2. I don't wish to appear at all sexist but there is much input on the
subject us boys can give too.

    No **** it, I do.

Having had occasion to study the matter formally I can only offer that
all of the burds on ukrm seem to fit their keks rather well and that
they probably shop at the same shop.

    Well, of course we do!

But, if we all shopped in the same shop, that's a bit of a bugger if
that shop is based in, say, Aberdeen, especially for the real
    suvverners.

Admit it, you just like looking at their arses in leather, don't you.

Go to a bike garment shop and try stuff on. No problems about needing to buy
first if you do that. Or buy online and if the stuff doesn't fit, send it
back. Or buy two or three of everything on line and send back what you don't
    want.

Apparently, that's a very burdie thing to do.

My wife (a size 12 these days, the fat bitch) bought a set of Buffalo
leathers and suffered zero damage to the Buffalo protected bits when I
lobbed her off the bike earlier this year, so the Buffalo pants did what
they should. Not "rip-off" expensive either.
    I'm not a gurl, but Busters, M&P on-line, J&S (Northwich(, Bikegear (in
Ashton-under-lyne) or Millennium Cycles (in St. Helens)

    Personally...

I would prefer it if more blokes took time to acually fit in their
leathers and show their a*ses off, rather than look like they left
their panty-pads that are used to fill the space elsewhere.

But, that's just my opinion ;o)

Are you willing to cover my cost of buying numerous amounts of garments
to try out before buying? I haven't yet found a bike gear supplier
that behaves in a 'catalogue' fashion. Unless, you know otherwise and
can point me in the right direction )
Last time I went to J&S, they had very limited burd stuff in (by that,
I mean fitment size, not fancy gurlie effing colours and shite) and
what they did had in didn't fit me.

I got my last leather jacket from MMC, they don't supply troosers to
fit and if I want them I have to pay for them before they are supplied
(as is the same with HG in Walton). Which is a PITA, because I know I
can be a size 14 - 18, depending on the clothing manufacturer. Without
being able to try the larger sizes in shop, it means I can't buy
    online, either.

    Hey ho.

Tsk, those Italiani boys are red blooded males chasing heterosexual
action with the elusive Italian female. Whilst trying to look cool in
shades astride an extremely small scooter, natch.

I'm a gurl, and I tried on most of J&S Northwich, who seem fairly well
stocked in that they have a gurly section at all. The nice lady who helped
lighten me by a couple of hundred quid was amazingly tolerant of my need
to try it all on 'one more time for luck'
anyway, I guess that's as near as I can get to a reccomendation. I've not
    crash tested my ixs stuff.

If you are venturing down to the civilized south, there certainly used
to be a ladies only motorcycle clothing emporium in Brackley (A43),
    dunno if it's still there.

Can't remember the name of the shop mind.
