    Afternoon all,

I am going to get measured for a new race suit next week, but have a
    problem.

I am about as artistic as a trout and have no idea on how I want to design
    the leathers.

If anyone can lend a hand, give some advice or links to sites that would
be great. If anyone has done this, how did you do it?

    Thanks in advance.

BTW, got a 3rd and a 4th in last weeks racing. Keith Mackay has got to
    slow down a bit ;-)

    Leather?

Black. Black stitching, while you're asking.
Your sigsep is so deeply fucked that even Agent won't snip on it - you
appear to have engineered a space preceding it which is fucking the
    whole works.

    Sorry!

    Black is boring though.

  4. But surely the company that you are purchasing from will have a design
service and experienced people to help you?

I'd suggest looking at site like Crowtree or BKS Leathers because they
either have gallery shots of previous designs so you see what you like
or don't like or else the BKS site has an interactive design system so
you play about with the colours and see what takes your fancy.

The only advice I would dare give you is to keep the design simple and
try to use complementary colours instead of opposing ones - like on a
    colour wheel.

    Hi,

Its Celtic leathers on the Isle of Man that are doing it for me, going up to
see the guy next week for a fitting. He does a design service, but want a
fighting idea of what I want before I go there.

I promise to have *some* black ;-)

Black leather base with a black ninja logo, a black V on the sleeves
    with some black cuffs.

As Pip suggested some black stitching.

Turn off you popup stopper for the axo site. Very flash-tastic, and
you'll need ctrl+w when you want to leave the site (the axo one)

Apparently yellow is this season's colour. How about bright yellow with pink
flowers. It'll look stupid until you thrash everyone in the racing and then
    it will be ironic.

Hint: You must actually win the race or the end result will be less than
    effective.

    Gavsta posted:
MJK have a booklet of outline diagrams of their suits. You can see all
the panels, and you colour them in the way you want it.

I got that, scanned it in and played about with a paint program, getting
a few opinions along the way.

See if the people you're going for do something similar, and if they
don't ask them why not. It made the process incredibly simple.

I know what happened. I selected the text in the orignal post before
    I hit follow-up (F).

    Pip was right.
