Leaky front forks on 1983 XJ750K Maxim

    I have a question on the forks of a 1983 XJ750K Maxim. My left fork is leaking and I need to replace the seal. I have the Haynes manual and it covers the maxims but not the K model; it covers the J (1982 750 model) but this model is completely different and more complicated. The 1983 K model is completely different than the J and a lot less complicated and is not covered in the book. Any Maxim guys out there with an 83 K model that changed out the seals and can provide a quick sequence on how its done and how hard it is. Thanks much
