The Yamaha's are fastest, with Edwards out pacing Rossi by 0.112, Nakano sneaks 3rd spot on his last lap and Hopkins 4th also on his last lap, Stoner leads the Hondas in 5th while Pedrosa and Nicky sit 9th and 11th. At this stage it would be hard to bet against Rossi he looks on form here and the Yams are consistently fast, but Edwards also seems to be very comfortable and consistent and he did well here last year so maybe he can hold on for top spot this year. Stoner looks good, he has been consistent and although he experienced a couple of run offs he's finding the limit so he could be a factor here. I think the Kawa's, Suzuki's and Duc's although putting in individual fast laps will lack race pace. Nicky needs to find something although this has never been a good track for him, his best finish was 6th last year. Still the forecast isn't too rosy and it could be all change if rain arrives although Rossi will probably still be favorite, don't know how Stoner will do in the rain on a MGP bike, he may be OK. I have revised my podium too based on today's efforts, Rossi to win, I'm taking a gamble and saying Stoner 2nd and Edwards 3rd. Paul
