Lazer Helmets

I was going to post a long rant detailing how I've been trying
(obviously unsuccessfully) to get in touch with a local
    (Nottinghamshire) dealer for Lazer Helmets.

Needless to say, after a week of unintellible addresses on websites,
unanswered eMails, Directory Enquiry dead ends and "We don't stock
them any more" from the two "dealers" I did manage to find, I came to
    a couple of conclusions.

    1) Why don't Lazer Helmets change their index.html page to something a
    little more informative like;
"F*ck off, we don't want your business anyway"?

    and

    2) Why didn't I simply ask the UKRM Massif for their guidance in the
    first place?

So, where the f*ck can I find a Lazer Helmets dealer in, and I'm not
going to be too picky here, the East Midlands or failing that, a
    distributor *anywhere* in the UK?

When I wanted to get my Lazer Revoloution, no one appeared to stock it, so
thanks to a link from someone on here, I e-mailed there main UK people, (or
somesuch) telling them what I wanted and where I lived, and if they could
send me a list of local stockists, which they did :)

So try e-mailing where you are and what you want, and ask for the nearest
    stockist to:

A few of the numbers given to me didn't work, but a few did, and I got the
lid in the end, so it's worth a try.

Thanks, I'll give it a go.

Why can't they publish this eMail address rather than the (apparently
    unattended) found on their website?

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, HooDooWitch
Not exactly what you'd call Midlands, but Graham at GLF in Flitwick
keeps Lazers and is an all-round good egg.

    Bad form yada yada[1]

Thanks for the link Nigel. Spoke with Graham at GLF. Nice bloke,
offered 50 quid off RRP before I'd even *started* haggling.

Dynamic, thanks for the eMail addy. Got a reply to my eMail this
morning in which I politely pointed out the frustration I'd had
finding a dealer and the general lack of info on their website. Some
poor HTML jockey is going to be busy this weekend methinks. Got two
possibilities within 15 miles of home and they (Lazer) said I'd get a
free visor for "enduring so much hassle", which was nice.

I'm off to try and get the two "offers" together. ...

    Cheers both.

[mental note: try *not* to drop this one]

[1] I don't know the protocol for where to reply to two separate
people, in the same thread, at the same time, to whom I've already
replied, so it's going here - like it or lump it. ;P
