Smack, you could have warned us..

[1] In 1992 ish Lex and I were working in the same suite of offices, he was
directing an episode of "Gillies and Company". I was working on
something else, our department ran an honour system fridge, in which
we kept a slab of VB for the end of the working day. At the end of the
first week he was there, Lex opened the fridge , took out a beer and
looked around for someone to give his dollar to... I couldn't resist it
... "Just leave yer money on the fridge" spilled out of my mouth.

Damnit Joe, I was keeping it a secret. Clem was going to copy the 2 DVD's I
gave him and share, but I guess there just aren't enough hours in the day
in Qld. I'm in the process of grabbing them on Digi as they come in.

I was explaining thermodynamics to my son the other day, how things expand
due to heat, and that's why the days are longer in summer.

Woohoo; '86 was where Wally (on the NS/RS500) ran Wayne (on the full-on
NSR) down through the back at Surfers lap after lap, only to be blasted
    down the straight each time......
    Or was that '85?

I'll go a copy too thanks Smack.
MY old VHS tapes of the old castrol 6 hour races etc, are just about
knackered.... Still love watching Willing hit the wall on the GPZ900
    while leading.

There's too much daylight Smack. I'm never near the computer 'cause I have
to go to the beach and have walks in the park and barbecues all the bloody
    time!
    Wait for winter.

    Thanks very much Joe.
Gawd it makes me feel so old to see cultured, grey-haired Lex Marinos
introducing this show and try to remember him as Ted Bullpit's afro-haired
    "wog" son-in-law.
(I bet you weren't game enough to add "Wog" to the end of your sentence!)
