Just gone to put passport, EHIC and insurance into tank bag. Insurance
is a yearly family one and it has run out. I'll sort that when I get
back but in the meantime anyone do online 4 day cover for bikes or
    shall I just not bother?

Just thinking about getting home should I crash really.

If you're insured with Auntie Carole you're covered.

And breakdown cover from vehiclerescuedirect, £16.75.

(Bloody eBike wants £49.95 to extend the breakdown cover to Europe for
the remainder of the ins policy and its non-refundable)

If it's personal insurance you want and not vehicle, then this lot are
    the usual recommendation:

Right I've paid 6 quid for cover through the link Cane posted
(thinking about some of his links that just sounds wrong) so if I do
    FC it's covered.

I just have a bad feeling about this trip.

I didn't spot that at the time, but have done my usual £29 for the
year, all of europe cover, which is still something of a bargain..

It makes sense if you're going to do a few European jaunts.

I've had year-long cover for the last few years but I have no immediate
plans for any more trips at the moment, so I'll just do it on a trip by
    trip basis.
