Last Guzzi Question for a while

    My friend with the combo has also been offered a V1000 Convert 1980 vintage
    48K on the clock for about £1800. Given that he plans to do 10k a year on it
    and 800 mile round trips what thinks the FOAK.

    Of all the old Solid Brick Era Guzzis, this is one that I'd avoid.

    I dimly recall a line from a pretty much glowing price guide assessment
    (UMG?) on the 70s Guzzis - "if it's automatic, laugh and walk away".
