Last ditch attempt

    As plans A, B, C and D have fallen through, if anyone's up and about and
    has a bike trailer (or a big f-off plank for that matter) and fancies
    a trip to essex via Chiswick, can you please let me know ASAP?

    Sorry mate... haven't been able to get hold of those concerned.

    Does it absolutely *have* to go today, because if not, I should be able to
    sort something out for later in the week.
