Here's the final notice of a ride from Canberra, via the South Coast, to
    Candelo Market, and home.

The plan, roughly, is this: down the Kings, rendezvous with the Sydney
contingent at Batemans Bay, down the coast to our overnight stop (probably
Tathra), visit Candelo in the morning, then take the Mt. Darragh road back
to the Monaro, Cooma, and home. Approx 300km (500km out of Sydney) each
    day, with no/minimal dirt.

Please let me know if you're interested, and want a share in cheap
accommodation (cabins in a van park).

Failing that, I may be writing a ride report highlighting all the excuses
that people have for not coming on my rides.

  2. Got a guesstimate of timing on this? I'm _maybe_ heading to Wodonga for
a xmas party on Saturday night - if the times match up close enough, I
could probably meet up with you at Braidwood and keep going from Tathra
through Thredbo and Kahncoban to Wodonga... I'd probably want to be at
Tathra somewhat earlier that you might be planning though if I'm going
to get to Wodonga before skippy-o-clock...

    For you? Sure!
We'll probably be passing through Braidwood around noon Saturday... but
    negotiable at this point.
ETA Tathra ~16:00, plenty of time for a dipple and a tipple before
dinner. We mature BMW riders like to mix our pleasures.

You will make a tourer out of that Monster yet... Sydney to Wodonga via
Braidwood, Tathra and Khancoban is a big day out!

Well.. I am going to Adaminiby.

So Big and I could head to Braidwood and then from Tathra and drop
    me of at Adaminiby.

I'd like to get there before sunset if possible, if only a bit :)

Then I could head down to Candelo if I get up early enough!

  5. Bah! thats only a little ride... I did Adelaide to Sydney in one day
back in March - only 1600km or so (I went the "back way" through
Bathurst instead of up the Hume to avoid boredom any Formula 1 GP police
    presence that weekend...)

Well you two, any firmer plans at this point? You both have a tighter
schedule than us Circle Citians, do you want to nominate a RDV?
Hmmm... market is open to about noon.

  10. Yeah well... My plans now involve sleeping in, a late breakfast, and
going to a different party in Bondi instead of the one in Wodonga...

And mine involve some fartarsing about with the other bike on Saturday
    morning.

I still have your number, will ring you in the morning if I am going
to try and make it to the market.

If you don't hear, I'm still passed out...

You need to plan that? It sounds like a typical Sydney Saturday... I think
I'll be relaxing into a coma on Tathra's sweeping golden shore with my
    latest pillion.

    No worries.
If I don't respond, it's purely because my prepaid account is postspent.

HTF would I know? No, I think they sell out of their curry puffs and egg-
    and-lettuce sangers.
