Lane Splitting in Texas?

My one and only "road rage" incident was in downtown Dallas several years
ago. There've been skirmishes where I would ride up and hit someone's window
or even where I dented a fender for them, but this was without a doubt the
worst. I was riding through downtown on Ross going to work and this woman
switched lanes knocking me into oncoming traffic. Instead of her getting out
of my way and letting me back in, she thought it would be funny to keep me
out there. I tried to slow down and then tried to speed up, but she managed
to keep me in oncoming traffic and causing drivers to have to avoid hitting
me. At one point, I slowed to almost a stop and she then swung her BMW into
me, so I didn't do that again. We went for a couple blocks like this and
finally I ended up at St Paul thinking I'd turn and get rid of her. She
turned into the turn lane and forced me to be sitting within a few inches of
her car. I banged on the window, and amazingly she turned and laughed. She
had some friend in the car on the passenger side who didn't seem to
impressed by her driver and when the light changed...you guessed it, she
turned into me. We came up to the next signal and she pulled to the next
lane from me and rolled her window down. She leaned out of her window and
hollered something about me sounding like an animal when I was in that
situation. "Okay, we'll play" I said to myself. I climbed off the bike and
stepped across toward her. She was a fearless one, she was. She then started
making grunting sounds. The last 5 feet or so, I lunged stabbing the heel of
my Lucchese boot into the side of the BMW. With me at the time weighing
225lbs, I rocked the shit out of her car caving in her door. I managed to
catch her door about 6" below the window seal with the corner of the heel on
my boot. I stepped back again to survey the damage, and she was in her
friend's lap eyes wide open. The side of that car looked like a DART bus
slammed into it. As deep as the dent was and the placement of it, I doubt
she was able to roll her window back up...if I didn't break it inside the
door. I looked that woman square in the eyes and said "can you see me now?".
I went back to my bike and heard her screaming out "you better have
insurance". When the light changed, I finished my ride to the office garage
and parked...never to hear from her again.

I'm sure that after that, she had to go home and explain to her husband what
happened...and then explain to her insurance agent. After paying a
deductible and out of pocket for the other crap that went with it, I'm
convinced that the woman would never do that with another motorcyclist and
looks back on it thinking it wasn't worth it to "play" with someone riding a
    motorcycle.

I've not been in a situation where I felt I needed to pull a pistol on
someone for their driving, but there've been situations where I could see
that I could be out somewhere in the middle of nowhere and it escalate to me
shooting someone...it wouldn't be over their driving though.

One thing that makes me the most angry is where kids in these $50 pull toy
cars try and play their kid-shit games with me. I have to remind myself that
they're just kids and too stupid to know better.

You haven't rode much, have you? Maybe you're doing too much riding
Valkaries and KZ1300s on track days to know...but that's the dumbest thing
    anyone could do.

A few minutes after you slow down and think you're okay, the problem is back
    with you.

And if you're trying to say that your "Vstrom" is able to go high speed,
you're simply stupid....or so stupid you're simple. Horsepower my ass!
There's no way you're tiny ass "Vstrom" dirt bike can outrun these cars
    today.
