LAM on the rego label (NSW RTA with a decent idea for once)

Hez just opened up the rego renewal and saw a "condition" on her rego label
    - "Cond: LAM". Looks like the RTA has decided to start putting it on the
label whether or not a bike is on the LAM list.

Pretty good idea - I've seen a number of bikes in the 'Post with "LAM
approved" which I can't find on the list. At least this way, if the bike is
registered (or a recent label can be produced) the clueless can work out
whether they're being taken for a ride (groan...)

Also, it means that restricted riders can check to see whether they're right
    to ride a bike quickly.

I still think the RTA are a bunch of ignorant tossers, but at least one body
there has two braincells to rub together.

They are actually putting it on the Police radio now, so I assume the RTA
system gives its restriction details. took the officer a few minutes to work
out what it all ment mind you

    cheers
    ;-)
