A few months ago when dropping in for a cupps I taught Lady Nina's kids
about Joey Deacon, I found them a webpage on him, and then basked in a
warm glow as they started to argue and one called the other a Joey.

Things like that are important.

 

Oddly, I'd never heard of Joey Deacon before I came to ukrm.

 

Predictably enough, I hadn't heard of him before reading this thread,
and still don't know who/what he is/was. And no, I cba to google.

I believe the term is 'an aquired taste'.

IMO it will sell well, the market for highly stylised products is
immense. However, sales may be slow to start as the market gears itself
towards its target, the BaB or even the £pink perhaps !

It strikes me that the mass market manu's haven't yet sussed out what
actually drives the market, they simply cannot discover the reason for
one bikes immense success over another bikes immense failure (in sales
terms) in order to replicate that formula for every future new model.

Instead we are presented with something they think we'll like, maybe !

 

That looks quite funky. I just love that headlamp setup. I can't
find any specs for it (seat height, etc) so I'll keep my eyes open for
reviews.
